With the month of November behind us and daily rates challenged if there was a difference, we are now turning to actual payment methods. There are daily rates for day service, respite and behavior management. Case Managers are responsible for annuals, 1/4's and all other services they have continued to provide. THe services mentioned were billable by the 1/4 hour and now there is a flat monthly rate. Just to make sure: IF there is no service provided, there is not a requirement to have monthly documentation. Is this accurate?

There is no clear direction as to what is required, but we should have a record of our actions. I think we should continue to take the necessary actions to assure that the person is being supported in ways that they want and need; and document our work pretty clearly.

If anyone looks at our case notes, including the person we represent, I want to be sure that they feel like they are getting value for the dollars invested in case management, no matter how paltry the sum may be these days.
